Online relationship psychics face competition from other psychics as well as competitors like counselors, coaches, healthcare providers, and others. To stand out in the SERPs, The Relationship Psychics needed to grow their organic traffic via strong keywords and an increase in online authority.

Before Authority Builders, our client was receiving low but steady organic traffic across nearly 10K keywords.

We decided to combine keyword discovery with authoritative link-building, both of which should contribute to higher rankings and organic traffic growth.

Here’s how we approached this client to nearly triple the traffic and bring them into the Top 3 position for multiple high-value keywords.

The Strategy

We recommended the ABC Plus 2K package, which includes up to 12 high-traffic guest posts on websites with a domain rating between 20-65. Each guest post appears on a relevant niche website hand-selected and vetted by our in-house team. We build an entire strategy around each month’s guest posts, including link analysis, anchor text analysis, and authority diagnosis.

We analyzed the pages that already had enough links and narrowed our focus to internal pages that link to the main targets and home page. We used a combination of exact, partial, topical, generic, and branded match anchors to dilute the link profile across all pages.

The Results

Over seven months of ABC Plus 2K, our client’s domain rating has remained at a constant 25. We’ve discovered 6,300+ new keywords as part of this process, 98 of which are ranking in the top 3 positions in search results. 

Our backlink strategy has resulted in a traffic lift of 4.2K visitors per month—a 300% increase compared to the beginning of our collaboration. The client now receives nearly 10K organic visitors per month across 16.1K keywords, many of which have a high difficulty rating and high traffic volumes.

Those high-difficulty keywords aren’t just for show. The client is receiving real traffic from them, regardless of where they rank in search results for those terms. For example, one keyword with 11K monthly searches and a difficulty rating of 79 delivers 123 monthly visitors.
